Projects & Events

2026 Program

Support for the NLP Summer School

The Association supported the institutional Summer School on Natural Language Processing organized by the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest. The program mapped out transitions from basic foundational AI mechanisms to bleeding-edge pipeline deployments.

Timeline & Mechanics: June 22 – July 3, 2026. Included comprehensive hands-on work and mentored project components targeting real-world problems.
Curriculum Framework: Classical ML, Neural Networks, Transformers, Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), preference optimization, synthetic data, and self-supervised learning modules.
2025 Program

AI Theory Course at Adobe

The Association developed and delivered a five-day AI theory course at Adobe, focused heavily on Statistics and Machine Learning fundamentals. The curriculum provided a comprehensive, practical introduction to data-driven methods used for modern prediction and classification.

Pedagogical Strategy: Combined structural theoretical instruction with intensive applied execution models.
Core Modules Covered: Fundamentals of statistical thinking, data cleaning/exploration, mathematical mechanisms, dimensionality reduction, and introductory ML tracking (A/B testing, linear regression, PCA, overfitting, and generalisation targets).
